Chikugo River Fireworks Festival筑後川花火大会
This traditional fireworks display has a history of over 350 years, having originated from the dedication of fireworks at Suitengu Shrine. Last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event took place at reduced capacity. Approximately 8,000 fireworks were ignited simultaneously at two locations and illuminated the night sky for a duration of 90 to 30 minutes.
