Jump Festaジャンプフェスタ

Jump Festa is an annual manga and anime fan convention held in Tokyo, Japan. The event is organized by Shueisha, the publisher responsible for various Jump anthologies, including Weekly Shōnen Jump, Jump Square, V Jump, Saikyō Jump, and Shōnen Jump+. The convention was inaugurated in 1999 and takes place over two days in December. With an attendance of over 100,000 people each year, Jump Festa serves as a platform for introducing new manga, anime, films, games, and merchandise to the enthusiastic fan base.

The convention's main focus revolves around Shueisha's Jump properties, showcasing both current and past series from publications like Weekly Shōnen Jump. The event often features appearances by manga artists associated with popular Jump series, providing opportunities for fans to interact with them and attend panels where questions are addressed.

Kaizo-kun, the festival's mascot, was created by renowned manga artist Akira Toriyama, known for his work on "Dragon Ball."

While the convention centers on Shueisha's Jump-related content, prominent game designers and developers such as Bandai Namco Entertainment, Capcom, and Square Enix also participate. They utilize Jump Festa as a platform to announce new games, unveil trailers, showcase gameplay footage, and provide game demos, broadening the event's appeal beyond manga and anime to the gaming community.
