Koshi Fire Festival古志の火まつり ファイナル — 祈りの炎
A traditional ceremony in which a 25m tall structure made of grass and hay, known as the "Sai no Kami," is ceremonially burned. The burning of the conical structure is done to wish for good health and a bountiful harvest for the year. The ceremony creates a magical atmosphere with a pillar of fire reaching up to 50m and fireworks illuminating the snowy setting. The event also features Japan's only Bull-Fight in the Snow, an alpaca petting ranch, a village of tents with local specialties, a stage show, and various other attractions for guests to enjoy in the snow.
