Gifu City Museum of History岐阜市歴史博物館

The museum concentrates mainly on the historical background and traditional handicrafts of the local region. It boasts a replica of a market from the Warring States Period, which was established by Oda Nobunaga, a prominent feudal lord of the 16th century, and a range of interactive displays. Visitors can see archaeological artifacts, illustrations, old documents, and more. Among the traditional crafts on display are Gifu lanterns, Japanese umbrellas from Gifu, and fans from Gifu.
