Heisenji Hakusan Jinja平泉寺白山神社

Heisenji Hakusan Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. The shrine is known for its mossy gardens and was designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty in 1930 and a National Historic Site of Japan in 1935. The shrine is located within the boundaries of Hakusan National Park. Heisenji Hakusan Shrine was originally built as a Buddhist temple in 717 and became a Shinto shrine in the Meiji period.
