Kiyosu Castle清洲城

Kiyosu Castle is a castle located in Kiyosu, Aichi Prefecture in Japan, known for its association with Oda Nobunaga's rise to power during the Sengoku period. The castle was constructed between 1394 and 1427 to protect the vital crossroads of the Ise Kaidō and Nakasendō highways that linked Kyoto and Kamakura. The current partial reconstruction was built in 1989 to mark the centennial of the city of Kiyosu.
