Matsue Castle松江城

Matsue Castle is a feudal Japanese castle built from 1607-1611 by Horio Yoshiharu, the first daimyō of the Matsue Domain, during the early Edo period. It is one of the few remaining original wooden castles, not a modern reconstruction, and has survived earthquakes, fires, wars and other causes that destroyed other Japanese castles. It is now located in the city of Matsue and is one of Japan's Three Great Lake Castles.
