Mito Municipal Botanical Park水戸市植物公園

The Mito Municipal Botanical Park is a botanical garden that features a Western-style landscape. Established in April 1987, it covers an area of approximately 80,000 square meters and features a variety of garden elements such as a terrace, rock garden, herb garden, lawn, water features, and greenhouses powered by waste heat from a neighboring garbage disposal facility. The garden is home to 28,000 trees and is open to the public every day except Mondays.
