Mount Fuji富士山

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, with an elevation of 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft) and is located on the border of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures. It is an active stratovolcano that last erupted in 1707–1708. Mount Fuji is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered a sacred site in Japan. It is a popular destination for climbing and hiking, with the official climbing season taking place from July to September.

It is worth noting that the mountain climbing season is limited and the access to the summit may be closed due to weather or other factors, also the official climbing route requires some climbing skills and equipment, it is recommended to check the official website for more information before planning your visit.
