Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi, also known as Miyagi Baseball Stadium, is a baseball stadium located in Miyaginohara Sports Park. The stadium has a seating capacity of 30,508 and is owned by the prefecture and operated by Rakuten. It has been the home field of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball since 2005. Miyagi Stadium is the third-oldest stadium in Nippon Professional Baseball and the oldest in the Pacific League, it was built in 1950 to host countryside NPB games and amateur baseball. It boasts a symmetrical playing surface and is the only natural turf field in the Pacific League. An amusement park named Smile Glico Park is integrated into the stadium's left field seating, featuring a Ferris wheel. The stadium is a great spot for baseball fans and families looking for a fun day out, with entertainment options both on and off the field.
