Tokyo Toy Show東京おもちゃショー
The Tokyo Toy Show is Japan’s largest toy trade fair, organised annually by the Japan Toy Association. It is held around summer at Tokyo Big Sight and serves as a major event for both industry professionals and the general public.
The event first started in 1962 as the Japan Toy International Trade Fair and was later renamed the Tokyo International Toy Fair before adopting its current name in 1982. Today, it attracts over 160,000 visitors annually, making it a major event in the toy industry.
The show features new toy product announcements, interactive exhibits, and exclusive showcases from leading Japanese toy manufacturers such as Bandai, Takara Tomy, and SEGA Toys. Business attendees use the fair for networking and trade deals, while families and toy enthusiasts can experience the latest trends and releases.
