Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha Shrine Annual Celebration And The Float Festival土崎神明社祭の曳山行事

Around 20 floats, each adorned with large warrior figures, are paraded through the Tsuchizaki port area in Akita. Additionally, the parade includes a portable shrine of Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha. The parade is accompanied by traditional dance and singing performances. The event was recognized as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property in 1997 and was also added to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2016.
