Mikuni Shrine

Mikuni Shrine三國神社

Mikuni Shrine, one of the most significant shrines in the region, is dedicated to the worship of the god of agriculture, industry, and prosperity. Its reputation rests on its stunning architecture, serene surroundings, and traditional Japanese buildings such as the main hall, the gate, and a large pond with lush gardens. A highlight of the shrine is the massive "Zuijin Gate" donated by wealthy merchants from Mikuni-minato, which showcases the town's rich tradition of craftsmanship. The shrine grounds are also adorned with stone lanterns, torii gates, and other traditional Shinto symbols.
