Miraikan - The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation日本科学未来館

Miraikan, also known as the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, is a cutting-edge science museum located in Tokyo, Japan. It was established in 2001 with the mission of promoting scientific knowledge and innovation in society. The museum's exhibits and interactive displays showcase the latest advancements in science and technology, as well as exploring the impact of these advancements on society and the natural world.

One of the highlights of Miraikan is the permanent exhibit "The Future World," which features a range of interactive exhibits that allow visitors to explore various scientific concepts and technologies. For example, visitors can experiment with robots, explore the mysteries of the universe in a planetarium, and learn about the latest advances in genetics and biotechnology.

In addition to the permanent exhibit, Miraikan also features several temporary exhibits throughout the year. These exhibits cover a wide range of topics, including space exploration, environmental sustainability, and artificial intelligence. Past exhibits have included "Beyond the Border - Life in the Age of Globalization," "Geo-Cosmos: The Earth and Its Environment," and "From the Heart: Power of Life and Creation."

Miraikan is also home to several unique features that set it apart from other science museums. For example, the museum's signature exhibit is the "ASIMO," a humanoid robot created by Honda. Visitors can watch ASIMO in action as it walks, runs, and even dances. Another unique feature is the "Geo-Cosmos," a giant globe-shaped display that shows real-time data about the Earth's weather patterns, ocean currents, and other natural phenomena.
