Miyazaki-jingū宮崎神宮

The shrine is dedicated to Emperor Jimmu, Ugayafukiaezu and Tamayori-bime.

It is believed that the shrine's location was where Emperor Jimmu had his palace before embarking on his eastern expedition. While the origins of the shrine are uncertain, it is thought to have been in existence since ancient times. The first recorded reference to the shrine dates back to the Kamakura period (1185-1333), and it is believed to have been built by Nobutsuna Tsuchimochi, who was a leader in the area at the time.
