Japan's largest goldfish museum is located in Nara Prefecture, a top 3 goldfish-growing region. Displays by leading artists center around the theme of "goldfish." Approx. 3,000 goldfish swim elegantly in the aquariums. 7 art spaces feature projection mapping, light, stained glass, and mirrors crafted by various artists, creating fantastical environments. The swimming goldfish are part of the art, and their expressions are a sight to behold.

Trick Art

Five Hundred Goldfish
The display features goldfish created in partnership with Yanai Goldfish Lanterns from Yamaguchi Prefecture, made with the intention of connecting people through "bonds" across the country. Over 500 handcrafted goldfish lanterns, each made by skilled artisans, were brought together by UWS ENTERTAINMENT.
Human Aquarium
Experience being a goldfish in the unique "human aquarium", the only one of its kind in Japan. It's about 10 times larger than a regular home aquarium and lets you know how fish feel. Equipped with human-sized aqua plants and a bubbling filter, immerse yourself in the underwater world.
Infinite Goldfish
Humans discovered a unique type of crucian carp approximately 1,700 years ago that was different in color from the rest and considered it beautiful.
