Sapporo TV Towerさっぽろテレビ塔

The Sapporo TV Tower was built in 1957 by Tachū Naitō, and serves as a repeater for radio station AIR-G' and FM North Wave. The tower features digital clocks installed at 65 meters from the ground, donated by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. The tower underwent renovations in 2002 and 2006, and commemorated its 50th anniversary in 2007 with events and discount campaigns.
