Senso-ji Temple浅草寺

Senso-ji Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the oldest and most significant temples in the city, with a history dating back to the 7th century. The temple is dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon and is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. The temple grounds feature a main hall, a pagoda, and various other structures and statues, including the iconic Kaminarimon gate which serves as the temple's entrance. The temple is also surrounded by a bustling shopping street, Nakamise-dori, which sells traditional Japanese goods such as souvenirs, food, and clothing.
