Kurashiki Tenryo Summer Festival倉敷天領夏祭り

The Kurashiki Tenryo Summer Festival transforms the historic streets of Kurashiki City into a vibrant tapestry of culture and celebration. This renowned summer event features the mesmerizing Daikan Bayashi-Odori Dance, where over 3,500 participants showcase their talent. The festival's atmosphere comes alive with captivating drum and musical band performances that enchant attendees.

The festival also features a grand parade of beautifully decorated floats, known as "mikoshi," which are carried through the streets by teams of participants dressed in traditional attire.

Local residents grace the occasion in traditional attire, including yukata and kimono, as they join in traditional dances, infusing the festival with a sense of community and heritage. The experience is further enriched by a tempting array of food stalls, offering delicious regional delicacies and delightful summer treats.
