Miyazaki Jingu Grand Festival宮崎神宮大祭
The Miyazaki Jingu Grand Festival, also known as the Jimmu-sama Festival, is the largest local festival in the Miyazaki prefecture. It honors the accomplishments of Emperor Jimmu and the harvest season. The festival features a parade of portable shrines called Gohoren and a procession that depicts the emperor's journey to the East and other significant events in his life.
