Okuma Kabuto Festivalお熊甲祭

The Okuma Kabuto Festival is a grand event held at the Kumakabuto Arakashihiko-jinja Shrine in Nanao, which involves participation from 19 local shrines. Each shrine is represented by a towering 20-meter-tall crimson flag that is waved in sync with the rhythm of taiko drums, bells, and chants during the parade. The parade is led by an actor dressed as Sarutahiko, a Shinto deity, and wearing a Tengu mask with a red face and long nose.
